I GOT TO KEEP THE CHANGE
My artistic process, to a great extent, centres around collecting. I collect objects, images, documents, stories, memories, moments, and events that have happened. Perhaps it is therefore only natural that I am so interested in photography. For me, the act of taking a picture is a type of collection in itself. I collect to keep, collect to hopefully gather enough to understand something.
At the Degree Exhibition, Sara Linderoth will show two pieces, En sång om livets gång and I Got to Keep the Change.
Min konstnärliga arbetsprocess går till stor del ut på att samla. Jag samlar på saker, bilder, dokument, berättelser, minnen, ögonblick och händelser som passerat. Kanske är det därför naturligt att jag har ett så stort intresse för fotografi. För mig är själva akten att ta en bild ett slags insamlande i sig. Samla för att ha kvar, samla för att vid tillräcklig mängd förhoppningsvis förstå någonting.
På vårutställningen visar Sara Linderoth två verk,En sång om livets gång och I Got to Keep the Change.
